Three Ways to Join the Advanced RV Community
For those who are new, or those who would like a reminder, there are several ways to join the Advanced RV community.
Some people know exactly what they want and start from scratch. Some find the right pre-owned ARV and start traveling right away. Others lease first, learn what works for them, and decide from there.
Here are the main paths.
Buy a Pre-Owned ARV
This is the classic option for someone who knows they love the freedom of Class B travel, sees an Advanced RV they connect with, and wants to start traveling soon.
All of the pre-owned ARVs listed on our website are available. They range widely in price, generally from around $120k to $500k, because there is a wide selection: older Sprinter builds, newer generation chassis, B Boxes, bike-haulers, and heavily upgraded custom layouts.
We encourage you to send us a message or call for the most updated price. We inspect returning ARVs, upgrade them, lease them, use them for staff trips, and make changes over time, so prices can shift.
A pre-owned Advanced RV still comes with the support our owners know well. New owners receive a multi-day onboarding session with Frank and the ARV team, a one-year warranty on ARV-installed components, lifetime technical support, and a battery capacity guarantee.
If you like a pre-owned ARV but envision making changes, we are happy to talk about that too. These vehicles were custom-built once, and many can be modified again for the next owner.
Lease to Try
Leasing is a good way to try the Class B lifestyle before making a larger decision.
You can choose from our available pre-owned inventory, and we’ll talk you through which ARVs might work best for you. For some, leasing is a way to see if this style of travel fits. For others, it helps answer practical questions: how you like the size, how you sleep, where you store gear, how you cook, and how you explore on the road.
Our leases start with a one-month minimum and can extend for much longer. Pricing depends on the vehicle and lease term, but generally starts around $3,000 to $8,000 per month.
Lease to Buy
Lease to buy gives you more time with an ARV before deciding what comes next.
All of the lease-to-try benefits apply. The difference is that eligible lease credit can be applied toward the outright purchase of the ARV you are leasing, or toward a future custom build from scratch.
For some clients, this is the best bridge into the ARV community. They get real travel experience, learn what matters to them, and then make a more confident decision.
Start From Scratch
For clients who know they want a fully custom Advanced RV, the process starts with a refundable $35,000 deposit.
From there, we help you shape the build around how you want to travel. We can help order the exact chassis you want, or when available, you may be able to start faster by claiming a chassis already in house.
Fully custom Advanced RVs, with the technology and systems our clients typically want, have been starting around $550k.
This is the path for someone who has a very specific vision: the layout, the systems, the storage, the bed, the materials, the travel style, and the small details they think about when they imagine life on the road.

A Note on Long-Term Value
One reason pre-owned ARVs remain interesting is that they can continue to evolve.
This year, we have seen strong interest from owners upgrading older Advanced RVs to our newest 48V lithium battery system. Over the past six months, 15 clients have chosen to upgrade, including some with vehicles more than a decade old.
We appreciate their confidence in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platform, the structure and cabinetry of an Advanced RV build, and the value of systems that can be serviced and improved over time.
Start With a Conversation
If you are not sure which path fits, that is okay. We enjoy conversations about your background, how you want to travel, and what kind of vehicle might support that. Whether you want to buy pre-owned, lease, lease to buy, or start from scratch, the best next step is usually a conversation.
