“The extravagant pleasure in being alive”
“Nuannaarpoq” is an Inuit word to articulate the extravagant pleasure in being alive. Former NASA employees and avid photographers, Beth and Hai had specific and precise design ideas about how to make their motorhome completely custom to their lifestyle. The ample storage space allows them to pack heavy for long, all-terrain trips to the best photo spots and the black-out curtains make a remote, uninterrupted space for capturing the starts with no light pollution.
In an effort to be environmentally conscience, Beth and Hai included a compostable toilet and a clothesline inside the van. The spirited fabrics of the curtains capture the mysticism of Nuannaarpoq and fuel the ambition to never take a second of adventure for granted.
