We were saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of one of our clients and friends, Caryn O’Connor, on July 21. Caryn was warm, fun, and always had a smile on her face. We’d like to share a few memories of Caryn here.
We first met Caryn in May at our Advanced Fest in Ohio. Our staff and guests at the event connected instantly with her. We enjoyed spending time with her at our office, as she configured her Advanced-RV, which was to be named Joy! She had even reserved a specialized license plate with the same name, which truly fit her personality. She designed a unique floor plan and was planning to live in Joy! full-time with her beloved dog, Jake.
We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to share time with Caryn, and want to send our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
Her brother, Geoff, wrote this thoughtful tribute to Caryn:
Caryn was a brilliant, loving, adventurous, caring, and beautiful person. She loved traveling and photography. Her early adventures included trips to her birthplace of Portugal, along with trips to Russia, Italy, and Ireland. In recent years she experienced an amazing photo safari in South Africa, and marveled at the magnificence of Yellowstone. During the last couple of years she decided to live her dream of traveling around the country in a beautiful motorhome. In typical Caryn style, she did it with passion and exuberance. She loved her travels and the people she met along the way. Caryn’s compassion for others was beyond admirable, especially for her brother Stephen who she cared for deeply. Unable to travel on his own, she took him on many adventures that he enjoyed immensely.
