Rick is a skilled, hardworking member of our craftsperson team, focusing on exterior finish and as an assistant in several production stations. He is an excellent painter. His attention to detail in all aspects of our motorhome production is evident in is work, test fitting and trimming running boards and exterior parts. Rick lives with his wife and son. They enjoy hunting and fishing as a family.
Dave is part of our finish team and is an artist with wood and other materials. He is a valued resource for experience and ideas. His aesthetic appreciation combined with his curiosity and skills make him valuable in every part of the build process. He is patient, thoughtful, and efficient. Dave learned his skills and love of the outdoors from his father and grandfather. He lives with his wife and two children.
In addition to accounting responsibilities, Viki coordinates Advanced RV rentals. She acquired her excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills from working in a variety of industries. Viki enjoys her free time with her two young children, playing sports and traveling with them. Her favorite childhood memory is taking a road trip to New Mexico in an RV.
Jody leads Advanced RV’s financial functions. She also plays a key role in human resources and the RV rental business. She brings extensive knowledge of accounting and business management, as well as a passion for manufacturing, to her position. In her spare time, Jody loves spending time with her two teenage daughters and two dogs. You can often find them playing at a park or hiking together.
Don works with the cabinet team to build, laminate and install cabinets. His love for this work started at a young age—in fact, Don has been a carpenter since the age of 14. As a Seabee for the United States Naval Construction Forces, Don was a mason and builder. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and taking his two grandchildren to the Farm Park.
Steve is part of our cabinet team. He brings 14 years of aircraft cabinetry skills to his role, as he helps Advanced RV provide innovative, functional and elegant solutions. In particular, he’s applied his talent and experience to the design and construction of lightweight tables for Advanced RV. Steve is married and has three children. In his free time, he fishes and coaches softball.
Tricia is Advanced RV’s client communications leader. Her primary role is to keep in contact with clients and potential clients. Her versatility is key to coordinate marketing and special projects. Tricia works with the team to make sure projects are organized and completed on time. In the summer, Tricia can be found near Lake Erie, and she enjoys family gatherings all year round.
Jose is a member of the finish team and also builds out-of-station components. Before joining Advanced RV, Jose worked at a desk manufacturing company. He inherited his craft skills from his father, and he grew up working with his father as a handyman and family car mechanic. Jose and his wife are marriage consultants at their church, where Jose also serves as a pastor.
Anthony is team leader in the finish station. He works mostly on interiors but is a resource for every part of the build. Anthony has 22 years of experience in automotive work, and his enthusiasm for this work started with a moped project when he was 14. Anthony is passionate about basketball. He and his wife have three children.
Mike is overall production leader and purchaser with extensive experience in automotive finish, fabrication, audio system design and installation. As an expert automotive painter, he applies his high standards to everything he touches, including plumbing, electrical, and finish. Mike grew up playing team sports, working on all things mechanical, and creating architectural designs. He and his wife have a young daughter.
Brittany is Advanced RV’s center of communication. Her technical curiosity and organizational skills bind the team together. She represents clients throughout the build process, helping them configure their motor homes and document their designs. Brittany has a BA in communication sciences, with sociology and art minors, and was catcher on her championship fast pitch softball team. Outside of work, she helps the Cleveland homeless community and is also a professional clown.
Frank supports clients through training and warranty repairs. His ability to troubleshoot, from near and far, makes him a valuable contact for clients. Frank also supports IT and operations. He previously worked for high-tech computer companies, an Internet service provider, a construction company, and a custom fabrication company. Frank resides in the log home that he and his wife built. He enjoys playing the drums, boating, fishing and home brewing unique beers.
Charlie is a member of Advanced RV’s pre-cab team. His main role is installing windows, flooring and AC units in preparation for cabinet installation. He enjoys the detail and precision involved in his work. Charlie’s background in mechanics, metal working and assisting his dad in his Harley shop as a teenager prepared him for this position. Motorcycling and drag racing are his passions, along with travelling and going to the zoo with his wife and two daughters.
Steve completes electrical and mechanical research and development for Advanced RV, and assists with production. Steve’s talent lies in integrating components and systems into a cohesive, easy-to-use interface. Steve has many interests, including building and running off- road vehicles. He also serves as a fireman and EMT.
Rob builds and finishes cabinets as part of Advanced RV’s cabinet team. He brings extensive carpentry experience to the team—he previously owned a company that built decks. In his youth, he spent his summers working as a landscaper. Rob also helped his parents build their house when he was young. He enjoys camping and attending his children’s sporting events.
Steve assists with the design and installation of Advanced RV’s handcrafted cabinetry. His attention to detail and hard work enable him to deliver first-class results on a tight deadline. When not at work, Steve enjoys spending time with his children and participating in church activities. Steve was a team leader at a landscape construction company before joining Advanced RV.
Brian is the electrical station leader. He is an expert artist, craftsperson and resource for every part of our motor home builds. His knowledge and commitment to quality and productivity are built on 22 years experience. Brian helps clients configure the right audio system for their motor home and expertly installs it to deliver clean, full sound. Brian spends his free time with his wife and three children, and enjoys competitive cycling, long distance running, and touring on his powerful Ducati motorcycle.
Carolyn works in Advanced RV’s upholstery shop to add touches of home to motor homes with her handcrafted curtains, pillows and tissue boxes. She has expertise both as a seamstress and a draftsman. She takes an active interest in Advanced RV’s clients, and enjoys conversations about camping. Carolyn spends her free time cooking and baking. Her homemade bread is exquisite.
Mike owns Advanced RV. He supplies ideas and motivation, enabling team members to take ownership of their roles. Mike is a mechanical engineer who led Neundorfer, Inc., a provider of air pollution controls, for 40 years. Mike and his wife Marcia toured the U.S. and Canada in four different Class B Sprinter motor homes. This led to the creation of Advanced RV in 2012, as they found the Sprinter to provide the best balance between freedom and comfort.
Ian is Advanced-RV’s CNC operator, and his role in cutting parts is crucial in cabinet production. After receiving drawings from our engineers, he’s responsible for creating tool path programs. He also assists with plumbing and electronics. This is his first full-time job after graduating from the Auburn Career Center. Using his mechanical skills, he once built a motorized couch. Outside of work, he is a handyman to his friends and family.
Chris is a furniture and upholstery designer who loves to innovate. He believes there’s nothing more satisfying than looking at an empty coach and seeing it through from start to finish. In the sewing and upholstery shop, which Chris designed, he works alongside his two daughters. Chris learned the trade from his father, and he’s been designing furniture since he was young. Chris’s hobbies are poetry, cycling, and everything sports-related.
Shayla is station leader for sewing and upholstery. She also takes responsibility for the final interior cleaning of all RVs, as well as the turnaround for the rental RVs. Shayla is a team player, helping the manufacturing process run efficiently. She developed her sewing skills at an early age, creating bedroom curtains with her father, Chris. Shayla likes being outdoors with her son Jordan and has a passion for photography.
Dan contributes technical design and process improvement to the Advanced RV team. Dan is skilled in Solid Works and AutoCad. He organizes part numbers, works with vendors, and continuously improves product design, processes, and facilities. Dan once worked with his dad to restore the family VW camper van. Dan and his wife Terry enjoy traveling with their camping trailer.
Nicole works in our upholstery shop, where she makes beds and seating for motor homes. She works with her father, Chris Piercy, from whom she inherited the sewing gene. “Living life to the fullest” is her motto. Her hobbies include fishing and camping with her family in their pop- up camper as well as many other outdoor activities with her two daughters. Nicole’s dream is to become a nurse, which she is in process of accomplishing.
Ron is a member of Advanced RV’s precab station. He prepares coaches for wiring, plumbing and finishing, and he also installs wheels prior to shipment. His 13 years of experience in construction, welding and custom building racecars and racecar transporters prepared him for this role with Advanced RV. Outside of work, Ron enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his wife.
Janice is Advanced RV’s website and marketing coordinator, serving as the liaison between Advanced RV and our customers and followers. She’s also involved with our clients’ configuration process, bringing their custom built motor home into reality. Janice is an avid runner and yoga enthusiast. She enjoys roller-skating and travelling with her husband and three young children.
Adam designs and builds cabinets and components for Advanced RV. He has more than 25 years of experience in the building field, specializing in custom cabinetry, furniture design, and construction. Adam holds certifications from Wilsonart International in solid surface and laminate fabrication and installation. Working closely with his colleagues, Adam ensures our motor home’s have fine furniture quality that are integrated with other RV systems.
Rick is part of Advanced RV’s plumbing station. His experience includes decades of maintenance and carpentry work. His main job is installing hot and cold water lines for the faucets in our motor homes. Rick also assists with installing nerf bars. Rick worked in several farmhouses as a child, which developed into a passion for horseback riding. He enjoys camping and canoeing with his wife, especially in The Alleghany State Park.
Cliff assists all production stations, including electrical and plumbing. His background in electrical systems and wire and internal parts preparation make his contributions in several departments strong. Cliff has over 20 years of experience with recreational boats. His passions include his hot rod, fishing and gardening in the summer. He enjoys family time with his wife, son and daughter.
Stephen is a key member of the electrical station. He has quickly learned Silverleaf controls and battery systems. Stephen’s experience includes six years in residential construction, where he refined his planning and organizational skills. He enjoys golf, fishing, and camping with his family. He also plays guitar with his drum-playing brother, David.
An expert welder, former welding trouble shooter and trainer, Jay helps design and fabricate aluminum and steel parts and assemblies for Advanced RV motor homes. One of his co-workers remarked that he was impressed by Jay’s welding skills when he saw him weld two razor blades together. Motorcycles and cars have been Jay’s passion since he was a child. Jay has a wife and two children.
Rob is the team leader for the cabinet station, and he designs, builds and installs cabinetry and other systems for Advanced RV. He has more than 20 years of experience in high-end finish carpentry and cabinet building. He’s also skilled in electrical, plumbing and lighting. Rob is excellent at listening to client ideas and transforming them into workable, innovative and beautiful designs.
